I'm taking a break from fiction writing and concentrating on freelance SEO writing for the time being.
I guess writing is like planting. You need to rotate the crops every now and then so as not to deplete the soil.
I'm using the time between writing SEO articles for reading and jotting down ideas for fiction. I'm so glad there are a lot of author blogs out there to visit for inspiration.
It's not really mental block that's bothering me. I have pages of ideas that I could start working on. It's just that I'm not in the right mood yet and I feel I won't do them justice in my current state of mind. Other types of writing I can do on demand, but fiction is a diva.
